Samsung has announced a new smartphone aimed towards those who prefer a traditional portrait-style QWERTY keyboard in addition to a touchscreen experience. The Galaxy M Pro also features a number of enterprise specifications that should appeal to global business users.
Above its QWERTY keyboard, the Galaxy M Pro features an optical touchpad and a full touchscreen. It is powered by a 1GHz, single-core processor, and it has a 5 megapixel camera. Samsung touts the thin design of the M Pro, as it measures only 9.97mm (0.39in) thick.
On top of Android 2.3 Gingerbread is Samsung's custom TouchWiz interface, and the Galaxy M Pro supports Exchange Active Sync, Sybase Afaria, CISCO Mobile, and CISCO WebEx for those enterprise users. Other details on the M Pro are scant at this time, but it should be hitting the market soon.
Update: The fine folks over at This Is My Next have uncovered more details about the specifications of the Galaxy M Pro.

In addition to its 1GHz processor, the Galaxy M Pro sports 1GB of RAM and 2.5GB of internal storage. It also supports microSD cards up to 32GB in capacity. Its 2.66-inch touchscreen is HVGA (320 x 480 pixel) resolution, and a front-facing VGA camera accompanies the 5 megapixel rear unit. The Galaxy M Pro measures 113.5mm x 65.99mm x 9.97mm (4.47in x 2.6in x 0.39in). A 1,350mAh battery provides up to 6.25 hours of talk time.
